Guided by Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another,” my time as Hegemon in 2025 was dedicated to strengthening Beta Zeta from the ground up. By evolving our new member education process, we challenged candidates to grow not only as members of TKE, but as men of character. Through the creation of the Initiate Readiness and Onboarding Network (I.R.O.N.) and Forge Groups, we fostered deeper connection, discussion-based learning, and leadership opportunities within the chapter.

The results spoke for themselves. The Mu Class became the most unified and philanthropic candidate class in our history, raising over $4,000—more than double any class before them. More importantly, they embodied brotherhood, growth, and service. While my role was to lead and hold them accountable, I learned just as much from their diversity, resilience, and commitment to one another.

Serving Beta Zeta in this capacity was an honor, and I am confident in the future of our chapter. These new initiates are prepared to lead with character, ensuring that Beta Zeta’s best days are still ahead.
